VTR-PON is a personal hobby project distributed free of charge. The listed features are not guaranteed to work in every environment, and bugs may remain in the latest version. Before using it for an important event, test it thoroughly with the actual Mac, media, and video and audio outputs you plan to use.
PPTX and PowerPoint files are supported only by the Windows version.
VTR-PON.app into Applications. When using camera or audio input, follow the macOS prompts to allow camera and microphone access.
For virtual camera output, enable the Camera Extension as instructed by macOS, then start output in VTR-PON.
For add-ons or external devices, separately install the matching Mac package and required vendor runtime.
Open the SHA-256 checksums and find the line with your downloaded file name. In Terminal, run this command from the folder containing the DMG.
shasum -a 256 VTR-PON-3.0.0-beta.2-macos-arm64.dmgCompare the displayed hash and file name with that line. If the values differ, do not use the file; download it again from the official link.
Back up your settings and playlists, then close VTR-PON and its companion apps. Open the new DMG, replace VTR-PON.app in Applications, and launch it.
See Import / export for saving your data.
Close VTR-PON and its companion apps, then remove VTR-PON.app from Applications. Settings, logs, caches and generated media are not removed automatically; back up any data you need first. Manage vendor runtimes and user-installed VST3 effects according to their own instructions.
When a camera or microphone is in use, macOS may show a dot in the upper-right corner of full-screen output.
macOS Sonoma 14.4 or later provides a way to hide it, but this requires steps in macOS Recovery.
This applies only to external displays showing an app in full screen; indicators remain visible on the main display.
