Use this page to check whether your media and devices suit your PC/Mac and output setup. For operating instructions, see the User guide.
VTR-PON3 is a playout app for Windows 11 x64 and Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 15 or later. See Download for Windows or Download for Mac for installation.
The tables below compare platform features and requirements. Check your actual combination of media, devices and output destinations before use.
PC/Mac and display requirements

Media and external-device requirements
Video, audio and stills
Both platforms handle formats including MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, MXF, WAV, MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, PNG and JPEG. An extension alone does not establish compatibility; check the actual codecs, audio/video formats and resolution.

PPTX file import is available only in the Windows version.
UVC and virtual camera

Current limitations
- VTR-PON 3 is a separate software project from VTR-PON2. Importing or migrating VTR-PON2 settings and playlists is not supported.
- If you need the older VTR-PON 2, you can download it here. Official development of VTR-PON2 has ended.
- Operation with every codec, UVC device, GPU, or display setup cannot be guaranteed.
Before a live event
Rehearse with your actual media, PC/Mac, and connected devices. Check the Controller and ON AIR displays, media playback, physical audio output, PFL, external devices, and reloading saved playlists. Begin with Getting started.
