WINDOWS 11 x64 Beta
3.0.0-beta.1
The first VTR-PON3 beta brings together tools for video and audio playout, from preparing media to going ON AIR.
Release date:
Features in this release
- Manage video, audio, still images, PDF, PPTX, and UVC video in playlists.
- Check media in EDIT, adjust IN/OUT points, and set per-item start/end behavior.
- Separate controls and ON AIR output, CUT / crossfade, DSK, and FTB.
- PFL, a dedicated BGM playlist, volume and EQ, confidence monitor, and timers.
- Virtual camera output, Roland V-8HD integration, and saving/loading settings and playlists.
Playback and operation improvements
- Loading and preparation of unresponsive network media now time out, marking the media offline.
- Fixed missing audio with some MOV files and unintended stops of otherwise healthy VST processing.
- Switch VST3 effects by selecting a candidate and clicking Apply. Existing processing is retained if the change fails.
- DeckLink input is shared between EDIT and ON AIR, and conflicting registrations are prevented.
Installer improvements
Fixed a virtual-camera registration error that could occur during an update even after closing apps using the camera. If the installed virtual-camera DLL is identical, it is kept in place.
Fixed uninstall failures when Windows retained virtual-camera files after the camera was no longer in use. When needed, the uninstaller requests a Windows restart to remove the remaining files.
Limitations in this release
- PPTX playback and conversion require desktop Microsoft PowerPoint. Native PPTX audio is output directly through Windows and cannot be adjusted using VTR-PON volume controls.
- Virtual camera output does not include audio.
See Features & requirements for media and device conditions, and Troubleshooting for operation checks.
Add-ons released alongside the app
Four version 0.3.0 add-ons are distributed separately alongside VTR-PON 3.0.0-beta.1: ATEM control, NDI® video/audio I/O, VST3 audio processing, and DeckLink I/O with fill/key. Install the ones you need from Settings → Add-ons.
